I imagine a wealthy, boardgame-loving entrepreneur should start a games distribution business roughly 3-6 months ago.

@PhilGross every now and then I daydream about if I just had dumb cash, what would I do. I sometimes think of having a design company that churns out weird designs. Winsome did this; small run, spartan, super quirky games. That sort of thing. It's the equivalent of doing indie movies after you've made it big.

(I'm still fascinated by the breathtaking innovation speed that the Japanese game design scene operates at).

@gpage yes, but would you be happy? Personally I am too much of an artist to both run a business well and be happy at the end of the day
@PhilGross good Q, I'd do one or the other; with dumb money I could just employ a bunch of designers on staff and focus on the business. Likewise, if I was designing, I wouldn't do anything with publishing. It's possible for me to just design today (they won't go anywhere, but that's not the designer's issue to me), I can't employ others and do publishing today.
