If you claim to have "fairness" or "diversity" or "respect" as core values of your organization but you don't post salary ranges for your job offers those things are not your organizations's values.

The only reasons for not posting these numbers are trying to lowball people (either those for the new job or those already working at your place)

@tante *nodds in agreement*

This #intransparency in terms of #salary / #wage and #tech is the reason why I'd love to start a job site that mandates said transparency from every company listing a vacancy there as per T&C so applicants can be shure they'll get what they've been promised.

What do you think?

@kkarhan The question is whether you'd attract any but the companies who already do that on other platforms.

@tante OFC you'll mostly see that inevitably happen with recruiters trying to fit positions in public sector with public paygrades and they'll just write-out the numbers instead of cryptic codes.

But I think making it mandatory on a platform would certainly provide said platform with an edge over XING & StepStone that only publish "estimates"...

@tante the Base truth of "to lowball ppl" is an important cornerstone for thinking about salary negotiations in a healthy way i feel.
These techniques are used by a lot of companys, you are Not greedy when you create Advantages or call for a higher wage. They are beeing greedy all the time.
