Question for my various cis friends out there. (With apologies for the poor wording.)

How flexible/inflexible is your gender identity? For example, if you were to suddenly wake up as the other gender, would this be distressing or more shrug worthy? If you could try being a different gender for some period of time (with the guarantee of being able to change back) would you?

@SalusaSecondus Damn good question and I had to think on it, as the mom of an NB teenager. But in the end, I would feel uncomfortable and wrong without my girly bits and feminine fashion and makeup. I have always been soft and feminine on the outside and it feels correct for me. If I woke up as a dude.... I think I would just living in bed masturbating all day cuz I am deeply curious how it feels to have a penis and what touch feels like and how it is different... in the end, tho... I think one accidental hit to the balls and I would be begging for my own body back! 😂
