I wanted a simple, no-hub HomeKit compatible light switch so I got the latest Belkin WeMo “with thread” plug.

💩 Wow, what a piece of crap. Randomly doesn’t work and when it does it takes 5 seconds to flip the light 💡

What are more reliable no-hub HomeKit plug options?

@stammy the only lighting system I’ve found to be 100% reliable for HomeKit control is the Phillips Hue one. It’s flawless. I know it has a hub so isn’t a perfect answer to your question, but it’s the only completely invisible solution I’ve found.
