@Andycollier @Penelope @jmlw1 True, but if you look at, say, the oil production per capita, Norway is comparable to the UAE. The USA is roughly one eighth of that. That's only oil, but still...
@Andycollier @Penelope @jmlw1 And Norway has 35x as much hydro power per person as the US. I appreciate I'm choosing carefully here, but it all helps with the quality of life. That, and eating lots of fish, I imagine. 😊

Perhaps fjords per person might be a useful statistic for you? Average coastal water depth? Total historical Hanseatic merchants per modern capita. :-) Letters β€˜ΓΈβ€™ per person?
