PrusaSlicer 2.6 might change how we work with 3D files (and you can use it with any 3D printer)!

@layers one way I expect to use the text boss feature a lot is for adding recycling symbols to printed parts. Those symbols are frustrating to do in cad because I often prototype in PLA before printing a production part in an engineering plastic, so adding the symbol and plastic type at slicing is a great option.
@wright4thejob @layers I think PrusaSlicer has had this for a while? Add Negative Volume -> Gallery
@RobeeShepherd @layers very cool, I’ll check it out! What I expect makes it even more versatile is the ability to project onto curved surfaces, which accommodates a much wider range of races to mark.
@wright4thejob @layers yes that's true! the old way only works for flat surfaces, I also forget to use them all the time. 😢
@layers the work you did to include a reflection of the Prusa slicer logo on the bed…
@RobeeShepherd I had the intro "done" and felt like it was still missing something... Was a fun experiment for sure!
If you know what to look for, you'll find plenty if things that aren't perfect about the entire thing, but I think it was worth it for sure.
