The setting is not one I'm used to seeing in media, so this is fascinating on that point alone.
Tian Ching: You left too soon last time! We need to talk! About a lot of stuff! Like our wedding! I'll be good to your family!
Also Tian Ching: *jump scares Li Lan every time he shows up in her dreams, and wonders why she runs away*
I'm generally camp trust the servants, and they seem to be in agreement that Tian Ching is a jerk.
But!
I do love his theatrics. If I were haunting dreams it would be difficult for me not to jump for the horror tropes myself. 
Okay okay, Er Lang is also fun.
I was also wondering if he was intended to be Er Lang Shen, but I don't think so anymore. 
Oh no wait, only six episodes? 
Er Lang is such a flirt.
Also Tian Ching's outfit when Li Lan ends up in the netherworld is impeccable. 10/10, no notes.
