@bitterkarella The first of those two links in that screenshotted paragraph, the one labelled “legitimate attractions,” goes to an article on Quillette, a website founded to promote racist biological pseudo-science.

The one labelled “age appropriateness” links to a Frank Bruni opinion piece which isn’t actually about age-appropriateness, and argues *against* giving parents direct veto power over school curricula.

Pamela Paul is just a bad person and a dishonest writer.
