@gcoleman The ultimate, unforgivable irony is that I literally replied to his "nah, we don't need to pay moderators, this is a forum not a business" reply with "The problem with treating everything like a forum is that forum owners mostly tended to have their friends be moderators and they would basically become a petty high-school clique that couldn't take valid criticism and would frequently have massive tantrumey meltdowns that would make everyone want to leave. The current criticism being levied at Musk is that he's 'Running Twitter like a PhpBB admin from 2005"

@epilonious that's funny you noticed my exodus! Partially I can't blame N because he did get in way over his head really fast with the amount of joiners but also folks tried to offer ways of changing the model to make it easier on everyone and he outright rejected them every time.
All I can say is that I hope he enjoys Thailand.
