FYI on CA consumer privacy requests - if you or an authorized agent file a request to a company to delete your data, and they ask you to "prove your identity", they are still obligated by law to comply because you already identified yourself in the request. You may answer with technically correct responses.
Here's what I got from Flo, a health tracking app:
1) What device/devices this Flo account was used on?
2) What year of birth is set in the account?
3) What time zone is set in the account?
4) What is the approximate start date of using the account?
5) When was the last cycle logged?
And my responses:
phones / **** / device default / after 2003 / before 1/1/2023
thanks to @jakobo for linking me to Permission Slip, a free app from Consumer Reports that assists with filing privacy requests to companies which may have personal data and be selling it to data brokers.
