Fetterman experienced a fairly anodyne post-stroke symptom and went to the hospital to get things checked out, out of an abundance of caution?

Good! That is responsible behavior.

He's a senator, he's not juggling the nuclear football.

So tired of the sensationalist ableism.

@gwensnyder
Shit, if I had congressional medical coverage, I would get several things checked out. That's what people with decent medical coverage do when they have health concerns.
@TheGreatLlama @gwensnyder Members of Congress and their staffs have to get their plans off the publicly-accessible Obamacare/ACA exchanges though I’m sure the Senators are picking higher tier plans than the government subsidies for low-income patients.

@gwensnyder
Fair enough, I wasn't aware that changed. Still, I'm sure they could find better coverage than my employer provided plan for what it costs me.

I'm not sure what you're trying to imply about government subsidies and low income patients, but that is not my situation.

@TheGreatLlama @gwensnyder The low-income comment was intended to suggest that perhaps a basic human need like healthcare shouldn’t be different between high and low income patients and not directed at anyone specifically though I probably phrased it poorly.
@fordan
@gwensnyder
Thanks for clarifying. I'd say we agree.
@gwensnyder yet no one is questioning Gosars apparent health issues.
