Especially muting good people because you don't like a link to another social media platform.
Elmo didn't want mastodon links on twitter because he is an oppressive ass. That doesn't mean I'm not using whatever account on whatever platforms I would like. If I can't talk here what is the point here?

@GatekeepKen @marie_cast @peterwbackes honestly, I mean all that in the nicest sincerest way, no transgression was meant in our conversation here. We aren't part of some binary platform usage war here, most of us know each other on there.
And these servers are our friends, we want this to thrive too. Nobody is trying to take away from mastodon, i've only ever praised it and I don't link that direction (to my main account) from here.
