@Tutanota While SecureDrop suggests disabling JavaScript to protect anonymity and you can encrypt data yourself, services like Tutanota, PrivateBin,... can’t be used AT ALL without JavaScript enabled in browser because they insist on doing encryption for you via JavaScript. Can Secure Connect be used without JavaScript to protect anonymity of whistle blower?

@cie @Tutanota I use a setup with LibreJS + JShelter which disables nonfree JS but allows free (as in freedom) JS and strictly disables JS APIs related to fingerprinting, it works pretty well.

That's great to hear! I suppose we will have to wait and see what the law actually says, but how are you going to comply with the new regulation if it will require you or the OS or whatever third party to scan every personal email for its content and/or metadata? All this seems absurd to me
