David Vienna@JeffLieber I have a friend who's part of a Hollywood women writers group that meets once a month. Each meeting they have a directive: Come with a pitch or a piece of professional advice, etc. The best one was "Come with an ask." Not sure what the Mastodon version of that would be, but the idea that the group is built on helping others professionally rather than just reading each other's stuff is amazing.
