thesuperpapagai@e_urq Don't know if I'm missing something, but it feels like the joke wasn't making fun of trans people, it was making fun of comedians who make fun of trans people.

I actually tried to make this point in my first draft, and then took it out because it was really hard to express- this is an AI, so there's no social context for it to be a satire of an unfunny comedian that doesn't understand why people aren't laughing when it just says randomly transphobic things, but if it was a real comedian that would have been where the joke was, so ironically it wouldn't have been transphobic.

@Tattie Hah, so, my first draft of the story tried to make that point, but I kept tripping over my words. Yes, if this was a human being, and if it was a joke, I think the joke would be that transphobic comedians aren't funny.
