Singaporean companies... What corporate banks do you use for your side hustle ? Most of the banks come with a monthly fee (whyyyy) and/or a minimum amount of $$$$ needed on the account

#bank #singapore #freelance #pteltd #privatelimited #account

@yeri Actually they all are the same.

They come with an annual fee that could be waved for the first 12 months...

AND (not or) a fall-below fee if you keep less than $$$ on the month...

Just pick your bank by your favourite colours or the distance to your office or home... 🤷‍♂️

When I was at college we studied something called 'cartel'... might be worth taking a look at my notes... 🤔

@kikobar hehe... I closed my UOB account and started using Aspire App... Promised to be free, but now they charge $12/month (!!!!)... So I guess I should just use Wise as account

@yeri AND don't forget the transaction fees...

#PanNow is not free for corporate any more and won't be free for personal forever either...

hmmm... I should've been a banker... 🤑

@kikobar whaaaat? aspire doesn't support it so fair enough... But yeah UOB regular bank transfers to non-UOB accounts are also not free #scam... So silly
@yeri LOL 🤣
@kikobar the trick is to xfer to your personal account, then xfer to dbs or ocbc or something
or pay a $5 transaction fee... insane

@yeri the fee from corporate to personal or corporate is $0.50 only...

Are you referring to international transfers? - that's another game altogether.

@kikobar hmmm maybe it was 0.5 instead of 5... Still!

@yeri it is $0.50 which is not a killer for the average business transaction... but what about when they start applying to individual accounts and they charge $0.50 for the payment of a $1.80 kopi at the food-court?

Recently credit card charges on taxis have also been raised to 10% of the value of the transaction...

Let's go back to physical cash!!! 😆
