There was yet another Twitter API policy change last night: “good" bots may have light write-only API access.
This was instigated by, checks notes, someone Tweeting a picture of their cat.
I wish I was clever enough to make this stuff up…
Eshu Marneedi@paul I think that they'll just end up grandfathering current API users because A) they're always late or B) nobody knows how to do what Elon wants.
Every decision Twitter makes has been delayed or walked back in some way. I think this'll be the same.
