@odysseus Of course! Isn’t that a minimum requirement?
@MonaApp I don’t think that you do, or at least I can’t get it to work how John describes. If I’m in mentions on account 1, then hold the Profile button and switch to account 2, it shows mentions in account 2, even if I was viewing something else in account 2 before switching to account 1 originally.
@deancommasteven Oops, my bad. I thought they were talking about remembering states before quitting app.
Remembering account states work well only for single-window app. In Mona, one account can be opened in multiple windows, so there will have ambiguity if remembering account states:
1. Restore account states from last active window? states in other windows could be unexpectedly discarded;
2. Restore from current window? user need to remember where and what they opened before.
@MonaApp Ah, I think he may only be referring to the iOS app, but I can’t be sure. For the Mac app, I’d say restore account state from the last active window only if there are no windows with that account open currently is the right call, but people who use that should chime in instead of me. I don’t think any currently open window state should be lost while it’s open.
@deancommasteven Yea but Mona supports multi-window on all platforms. For Mac app, if all windows were closed, Mona restores what’s opened in the last opened window.
