Bokono@inklings @msnbc I have mixed feelings about this. His interview of peter navarro may very well be the last nail in that man's coffin. I definitely get where you're coming from and do not appreciate seeing people like gaetz on MSNBC but there is a fine line between platforming them and giving them enough rope to hang themselves. I think Ari is usually on the right side of that. He let gaetz go a little too far though.
When a judge cites an Ari Melber interview as evidence, I’ll retract my complaint.
But MAGA think it’s perfectly fine to lie to the media bc they’re not under oath. (They’ve said this out loud). Which goes to the heart of the issue: they’re prolific liars. So what is the value of their words.
@inklings @msnbc the J6 committee already did when they charged him with contempt. You can bet that it's going to come up at his trial or plea agreement. They will not look too kindly on his refusal to speak to congress coupled with his eagerness to go to the press. Those things are not compatible. Can't claim privilege while talking to the press.
