CASTING CALL: After our Halloween crossover special with Bitter Karella's Hugo-nominated microfiction "The Midnight Pals", she and I got talking... and I can now reveal we're making a WHOLE NEW AUDIO SERIES, "Submitted For the Approval of the Midnight Pals", a comedy-horror anthology in which classic horror authors, living and dead, meet around a campfire to tell their strange scary tales. We're looking for four male-range voices. This is an unpaid project, at least for the first season.

(There'll be further calls, for all genders, for individual episodes, once we've filled out the main cast.)

    @HauntedOwlbear weirdly, this seems to be a quirk of mastodon (or this instance) and not CCC. The link in the post itself works for me in firefox, but the preview link at the bottom of the post, which I don't seem to be able to remove, just points to the nsfw warning page without the URL arguments that redirecting it to the project, so it has nowhere to send you once you consent. I'll edit the post asking people to click the right link!

    CCing in @horrificnathan (maintainer of this mastodon instance) just in case it's anything he can do anything about.

    [It's also possibly a CCC problem—they're not the unbuggiest website, but I won't complain as I'm using it for free and I don't know of a better site for managing audio auditions.]

    @untruestories @HauntedOwlbear unfortunately it looks to be a Mastodon thing. Not sure how I can fix it. :/
