The early days of Twitter were wild though. Interactions with Spike Lee, William Shatner, Stephen King, and even Prince. Prince! Rest his soul.
@TJ800 Truth. I remember making a recipe by Emeril Lagasse and I mentioned his handle in my tweet. He responded to me, thanked me, and said it was one of his favorites. He was so interested and kind. And I even received DMs from Nigella. Plural! It really was cool.
@KNS whoa. They say never meet your heroes, but tweeting your heroes, I mean, especially when the interaction is amicable - just wonderful.
@TJ800 Agreed.
@KNS and DMs from Nigella. Badge of honor! She’s like a goddess in our household.

@TJ800 She is so cool.

It is funny that came up. I hadn't captured some of the neater tweets before blasting my account but I did search on the bird site today and found two tweets where she responded to me. And you responded to one of the tweets too. It was regarding her Mother's _Praised Chicken_ recipe. My account is gone but her tweets to that now-gone account remain. Goofy.
