Everyone I follow online is some variety of nerd who can build a pc or expound about audio or video quality, or has some sort of smart home set up.
No one seems to know how a thermostat works and it’s been driving me CRAZY 😂

@Jennorocks define works? I can explain it but I couldn't build one or owt.

@Hippyadam as in just using that to set the temp you want your house then leaving it. Versus turning the heating off and on manually

@Jennorocks our original thermostat died ages ago so we did that for a year or so.

I got bored eventually and picked up a basic WiFi one and the receiver, stuck the thermo up and synced it with the existing receiver. Then I ebayed the new receiver and broke even 😁

This is just a temp and done. Turn it down at night and up in the morning.
