Chutney, the boy next door.
@Comus What a lovely cat. So sorry he isn’t been properly looked after.
@jonconnorton
My neighbours don't know about the surreptious crunchy treats I slip him. Herself thoroughly resents it since she is restricted to boring old renal support food.
Has Bluebell fotgiven you for not always responding to her bell yet?

@Comus Somewhat. I’ve taken my mother away on a weekend break for her Christmas and birthday present, so Janna and my mother-in-law are caring for her. Last I heard my MIL has a sore arm from waving the toy around so much, and Bluebell is now the shape of a barrel from all the treats.

Please keep on treating Chutney.

@jonconnorton He is a bit of a bag of bones, but he seems in bright-eyed
good shape for an old (c.14Yrs) boy. The lady of the house goes out to work, but the man wfh, so Chutney isn't a total outcast.
Where have you taken your mum?
@Comus Took her to Venice, as she’s never been and is not doing great at the moment. It’s nice, and they had some kind of carnival last night, which was fun.
@jonconnorton Oh lovely!
I went in the early 70s on one of my bargain basement inter-rail Grand Tours. A convenr offered cheap bunks for no-good backpackers like me. Loved it.
@Comus It’s still great. I adore the city.
