Today’s listening is ‘The Deep Field’, the 2011 double album by Joan As Police Woman.
Odd name for a group, that.
Joan Wasser (the chief police woman) has a wonderful, soulful singing voice and there are some great tracks on this album.
Can I describle this as being funky? (I’m a little bit out of my depth when it comes to ‘funky’ music…)
