Kinky Kobolds@ColtFoxy @tkwolf I believe those are limitations of the app Tusky, not limitations of Meow.social as a server. We do support editing, but not all apps have support for it yet.
That said, if you find another server that you think is a better fit for how you wanna use Mastodon, go for it! One of the best things about the Fediverse is that you can switch servers. There are no hard feelings at all from the mods here; we all think it's genuinely awesome people can find their niche and go for it. :)
@KinkyKobolds I will say that I have the same issue on Ivory by Tapbots. I don’t believe editing has been implemented into the app itself yet so I haven’t worried about it, but videos don’t work at all. In Ivory’s error logs it says NSLocalizedFailureReason: The server is not configured correctly. Not sure what could be causing that, but yeah
@ColtFoxy Interesting! I'd be frustrated by that too.
Videos *do* work in Fedilab on Android, so I know it's possible to get videos working in a mobile app, but I'm not sure if this is an Android vs iOS difference. Hopefully the folks behind Ivory get the video support worked out soon.
