@joyannreid keep in mind that msnbc is owned by a corporation. Keep in mind the capitalist system created by the founding fathers thrived on slavery and today it is that same system that drives the whitewashing of history. To think one political party can stop this is totally absurd because the capitalist system controls the political system. Even if the most moral person is elected to congress they maintain enough control to always get the legislation passed that benefits the ruling class.
