For those asking about auto-posting to Mastodon, I added [ugly] code to my bespoke blog engine to make a Mastodon API call directly.
sayrer@caseyliss even more convincingly, I was looking into that kind of stuff, and thought "I need it to post to Mastodon, I don't want to deal with that".
