@ceresbzns @itamarst No, I pointed out that removal of the most parking spaces in the densest part of the project is controversial. A tough pill to swallow. Also, DCR has been an obstacle & I worry that if they delay, the FPP/Brattle intersection will be more dangerous for everyone.

@scowens @ceresbzns Exactly. You're saying "'let's make streets safer is controversial' because of parking removal". You're saying my staying alive and unharmed, and my daughter staying alive and unharmed, is controversial and a "tough pill to swallow" if it means removing parking.

The non-embarrassing thing to say is "this is tough, let's try to preserve as much parking as we can but safety has to come first." That is very much not what you said.

@scowens It's not like city staff are deliberately removing parking there. When they can, they keep parking. They've added extra spots based on resident's suggestions. There's just not enough room, so the choice is safety or parking. You very publicly chose parking.
