@Techmeme. What you suggest may be true but most of these companies hired 2-3X more employees 1-2 years ago and may not need all of them as they thought. Also, borrowing costs are now higher which may change corporate strategy. Like most things, there are many factors in decision making. Nonetheless, I hope most of these people find a better employment opportunity.
