Well hell, I’ve become a #Seattleite. I just spent that last 30 minutes working out on the deck in shorts & a cotton top & sandals. It’s 40 degrees outside. #seattle #blues

@LucyWildboots 40º?! it's 35º in Kitsap! How are you warmer? 😄

But yeah, I just went out to the store in a t-shirt so I hear you. Congrats on becoming a #Seattleite .

@PetterOfCats our deck doesn’t jut out, so less wind & we are south facing, so lots of sun today.
@LucyWildboots But were there socks involved inside those sandals? Because that's quintessential Seattle. Also, good job on getting that exercise is even though it's as cold as 'my chihuahua watching me pet another dog' out there.
@grippingyarn pink, with a kitten face & little faux ears.
@LucyWildboots Based on my birthright as a perpetual resident since conception -- I acknowledge you as a naturalized Seattleite due to your instinctual choice to wear cute socks with sandals in near freezing temps. *boop*
@grippingyarn it was time for the quarterly ‘Rearranging the Bonsai” or “how to fit 25 bonsai (including the giant sequoia) on a Seattle deck.”
@LucyWildboots
😂 I don't have a deck at the moment, but I too am keeping a Japanese maple in a pot on the back patio. You're doing well the local traditions!
@grippingyarn half of these bonsai have moved this way: San Diego > C’ville > Austin > Redwood Shores > SF > Seattle and there is a 50 y/o Japanese maple among them. They are like children.
@LucyWildboots Wow! They certainly sound loved! You're a good plant parent. <3
