Like many tech-oriented people, I learned to program #computers in high school. HOWEVER, for me that was in 1965.
Cass Tech in #Detroit #Michigan was given an IBM1620 by IBM and we learned to program in straight binary, SPS (assembly-like language), and FORTRAN II.
