Very excited that I have a new preprint out today on how zoologists need to rethink how we conceptualize "sex"- not as a single fixed variable, but as a set of overlapping, not necessarily linked, and often multimodal phenotypes.

Huge thanks to my coauthors on this- Sara, Kinsey, and I had many many productive writing sessions over Zoom to bring this to life, and our wonderful undergrad coauthors did the bulk of the literature search along with bringing in their own great insights.
