@festal @leonido meine Hochschule wurde Ende letzten Jahres gehackt und wir schicken gerade Briefe und Faxe. Wissenschaftliches Arbeiten ohne Hochschulkennung auch mega! Mir würde ja schonmal reichen wenn wenigstens EMail funktionieren würde.

@tkneubuhler @leonido not that I know of. I think the local IT department is still busy with migrating to outlook. 😭😭 But, good idea, I'll ask.

@festal Here they are busy changing e-mail headers to "Attention This email originates from outside the concordia.ca domain". And I am still waiting for permission that I can use Postbox (e-mail client) with their e-mail system. I think they don't want us to use their e-mail anymore.

@tkneubuhler Haha, Same here. Now every link in my ZHDK email is routed through a "safety server" which doesn't recognize obvious spam ......

Is the end goal of university IT departments to convince everyone to never use their university emails? The endless header warnings (making previews useless), subject add-ons, limits in apps/IMAP, & geographical restrictions... And, I'm not sure all these actually help...

I'd guess that's Exchange, not E-Mail?
Having the same issue with "normal" E-Mail clients here, in Delft.
The only thing that works (except Outlook) is Evolution. Mail also works in Thunderbird and a few otjers, but every single calendar thingie I tried (even following official recommendations) let to invitation reminder spam in other people's inboxes. Not particularly fond if Evolution but it's that or webmail on Linux...
