@catselbow nice, what did you use to capture this clear close up?
@agateubabe Thanks! I just have a couple of point-and-shoot cameras (a Sony cybershot DSC W55 and an Olympus TG 5). I think this was taken with the Sony, which has been a great camera. Both can focus on things as little as 2-3 cm away. The main tricks are finding enough light, so that there's reasonable depth-of-field, and bracing myself to avoid motion blur. Lying on the ground works for shots like this, and I carry a walking stick to help brace for higher things.
@catselbow thanks for sharing that! I’m a point and shoot type of picture taker myself. And those are good pointers; light and a steady position make a world of difference!
