I’m baking off my Cheddar Jalapeño Sourdough this morning. It smells so good in here. Enough good smells to wake the others? We’ll see.

@MichaelPorter do you like to do inclusions? Next one will be hazelnuts, figs and cranberries, I think. Maybe build it tomorrow for a Monday bake.
@amwaters I’ve been flying by the seat of my pants, mostly, and happy when a loaf turns out with a fluffy crumb. I haven’t started putting anything *in* the loaves, as I like the flexibility of adding stuff later (toppings, etc.). I used to do the “no knead” yeast-based loaf with some ground up rosemary in the mix and on top with some coarse salt. Yummy, but I’ve gotten lazy 😄
@MichaelPorter maybe 2023 will be your year of renewal. I think it’s natural to go in waves. Maybe it’s the cold weather that has my sourdough enthusiasm back.
