JerrycakesFor those of us who live in the South, and who don't have a safe place to be comfortable with our sexuality, we live our existence in the closet. Forced there by isolation and ostracism from family and religion alike, it means a lot of LGBTQ+ people have to seek out the Internet for companionship and (in cases) sex.
I'd been following the story since it originates from Lafayette, LA - my birthplace and the closest major city to me. I'm glad the person in question will go away for a very long time. It's probably been a lot quieter than other stories involving folks like me - drag queens and banned books not withstanding. It likely won't be the last time we hear about something like this.
