We're getting inundated with tech support requests, I've tried but can't keep up. I asked my oldest (comp-sci major) if he wants to help, for $ of course.

I tell him how much per hour and he starts negotiating with me! “You are never supposed to take the first offer.”...

Where the hell does he get this from?
