Catherine@fedorachronicles My uncle was in the RAF. He was posted in Hamburg just after the War. One of the officers in his regiment had been at the liberation of one of the death camps. This led him to hate all Germans. Germans in Hamburg were women, children and elderly, starving and (mostly) innocent. They were also victims of the Nazis but this man couldn't see that. Hate begets hate
