1. Million Dollar Baby (7/10 ⭐ )

This track was ok. Definitely a good opening track, and also a decent album single. But it's formulaic to the point that it's giving off too much of a mainstream vibe, but it's got enough Ava Max elements in it that it doesn't sound stale. It's good for casual listening if you're into dance tracks. I definitely am so I enjoy this one.

I also love her referencing the "muh-muh-muh" from her other track Sweet But Psycho that got her labeled as a Lady Gaga wannabe.

2. Sleepwalker (8/10 ⭐ )

I immediately added it to my playlist the moment I heard the pre-chorus and chorus part. It's a good melody she's using, it's catchy, and it became an earworm immediately after listening.

I think this track is a very good representation of pop music. I just wish it had a proper bridge instead of an instrumental break.

3. Maybe You're the Problem (7/10 ⭐ )

After a complete playthrough, I wanna say that Ava Max chose the middle-ranking tracks. This is her lead single, and I don't think it's a good choice. It's a very good pop track, but there are definitely better ones in this record.

I am more interested in its lyrics being about a lover who twists the truth, making you think you're the problem when really it's your lover. That's interesting.

4. Ghost (7.5/10 ⭐ )

I loved the disco intro. This is a track that I will not skip if it comes on, but I won't be seeking it out as much like I would for Sleepwalker. I can also see this being a grower for some listeners.

The chorus is its shining glory. It's very memorable and the payoff for sitting through the verses is very well paid. This is one of the top tracks on this album for me.

5. Hold Up (Wait A Minute) (5/10 ⭐ )

This is one of the lower-ranking tracks for me. I just don't vibe with it. It's got all the ingredients of a pop dance track, but for some reason, I want to skip it. I can see this working for some listeners.

I've listened to it for a few times and it didn't grow on me.

6. Weapons (7/10 ⭐ )

This track has a more fast-paced beats. This is one of the singles from this album, and I found that it's a really good one for working out. I just want to jive with it.

I just think the concept of fighting negative words with love that it 'drowns it out' is quite corny. But it's a good track for me.

7. Diamonds & Dancefloors (6.5/10 ⭐ )

The title track is another one of those that can work for casual listening. There is nothing too remarkable about it, and it's quite repetitive. I am also unsure how to feel about it. I can listen to it, but I will not seek it out.

8. In The Dark (7.5/10 ⭐ )

This is a very techno track, and I love that. I can also see quite a few queer people relating to its message of being loved only in secret.

9. Turn Off The Lights (9/10 ⭐ )

Another track that impressed me. This is in the level of Sleepwalker. It's intro sounds like a very cheap attempt of a DJ to recreate a violin sound and it's a good way to set the sound.

It's very techno too, and it also hits the sweet spot for taking advantage of vocal effects in a way that's delightfully surprising. I "gagged" when I first heard the post-chorus.

10. One Of Us (9/10 ⭐ )

I am sad for this track because this should have been a piano ballad, but that wouldn't fit the sound of the album. I am not sure how to feel about this song as a dance track, but I am so excited to hear Ava Max's strong vocals breeze through this track with only a piano.
