One of the best tips I ever read for the correction phase of digital comics editing is to print what you have at the final print size and highlight corrections based on how it looks at print size. (A Hamm tip, maybe?)

A bonus for this method is that it triggers something in my brain that gets me to actually finish pages with care (probably having a plan laid out). Here's a recent example!

I'll be honest, though, the word "neaten" is doing weird things in my head.

It does exist, though, I just... don't think I'd ever used it.

@MudMan Haha, I must use it plenty for us both in that case! I am in the 'get it down quick' camp, so neaten stages are pretty much part of the polishing process, although I'm trying not to be toooooo neat, but even at print size some of the shading looked really sloppy, even for me 😉
