@seanability When you post an image, you are offered the chance to Edit it, and a big box in which to describe what the picture shows. This allows vision-impaired Mastadonians to follow discussions and understand content that would otherwise be inaccessible. It also allows for some explication of things that even sighted readers might not understand.
You can view the image text by hovering your cursor over the image and seeing what pops up. Even a few words are better than nothing.
