@georgetakei the Pope is literally lying. Even here in #Canada, #gay people are subject to surveillance & criminalization for a variety of things that are parts of gay life. (E.g. public sex, etc.) Such social, systemic criminalization is a result of the actions of the Catholic Church that has subjected 2SLGBTQIA+ people to social condemnation and sanctioned violence against us for centuries. Oh I could go on.
