@mawil1013 we need new social media that’s better than Meta and is aggressively run, employed and maintained by progressives and liberals. No spam accounts, no fake accounts and no bots.

All those features allow gaslighting comments to head to the top with fake accounts “spam liking” them, brainwashing/gaslighting people to sway to the “majority” comment/misinformation/opinion. And I think it goes without saying, it deters harassment, and bullying.

Meta is a right wing/nazi/fascist enabling company and it’s making it more and more clear to the public. Twitter is already lost to fascism. All this is a huge problem, especially since social media has become such an important role in staying informed independently from brainwashing media, plays a big role in political sway, and allows people to connect directly, plan, inform, and group globally, like no other time in history.

To really disable these nazi loving companies, we have to stop contributing to them permanently.
This heavily depends on people who are liberal/progressive with money, to create these apps.

This also means we need anti trust laws in play and aggressively break up monopolies. Also, fuck Citizens United!
