kofeyhHaving moved here from NZ it weirded me out that Australia Day wasn't on Federation day, which would make sense, and instead celebrated a random ass day where colonial boat people arrived. Twenty-odd years on it just feels awkward as shit.
Cycling Stu@kofeyh I remember when each state had their own way of defining when they celebrated.... And then someone decided to make it all happen on the same day... That was in the 80s... It is not hard to find Australia Day listed as July (which was a curious choice)
