@Talyaa I am remembering the story about a magician aboard a ship whose pet parrot upstaged him nightly by giving away the tricks, saying "the card is in the pocket" etc.
One day the ship sank mid act and the parrot and magician wound up floating on some luggage.
The parrot looked around in confusion and finally said to the magician, " What did you do with the ship?"
