Damn it’s not my day

ICE Berlin-Köln gets stuck between Hannover and Wunstorf due to police incident, track blocked

I go back to Hannover. Take a IC to Fulda. That gets delayed due to… police being called to remove a passenger at Kassel

So connection missed in Fulda. Means I’ll miss the ICE in Frankfurt (Flughafen). So l’ll be in Bruges 6 hours late… 😳

@jon Is it unique to Germany that there are so many police interventions in rail services? I’ve never encountered this in the UK, but maybe the information isn’t relayed to passengers in the same way

the situation in Wunstorf (suspected homicide in a forrest near the tracks) is pretty unique, the others not so much.
