Okay so I don't really care about other game companies having launchers, but I absolutely HATE when you buy a game through steam and it makes you use an account through their aweful service
EA, Ubisoft, and Rockstar are especially bad at this

It just really makes me feel like I don't own the stuff I paid for. I'm just trying to play it Takes Two, why do I need to make a second EA account after forgetting an obscure one I made a decade ago?

@Maxjk0 EA's second launcher in steam is the worst.

Also ruins games being playable offline (at least on the Steam deck).

Also ruins the Steam deck experience. Everyone in the family can play games in their own profile, except EA games 🤦‍♂️
