@[email protected] hey, if I annoyed you with notifications I'm really sorry, it was an accident while testing something with my mastodon client 😬
@Memorion I don't use Mastodon (way way crazy too heavy to run for just me and lacked some features that I wanted, and I'm less a fan of the Twitter style UI), hence my curiosity of how my instance would handle it. 🙂
@overminddl1 ah I see, I thought mastodon was too different from "raw" activitypub for interactions like this, I'll have to look into it more
@Memorion I'm using friendica, it's a PHP horror but it had all the features I wanted while being suuuuuubstantially lighter than mastodon and most others short of, like, Lemmy (which is way too young and buggy at this point, but I really liked the UI), but it supports everything from gnusocial to activitypub and a lot more. It supports a lot of specialty interactions (like some Mastodon specific ones) and more. It's also been around like 15 years or something like that (which is why I guess it supports everything in existence). But being PHP, even if on PHP 8.2 in fcgi, I still don't entirely trust it under heavy load or under various other circumstances, it's no rust server after all (wish I had the time to make one myself...).
