OvermindDL1@Memorion I'd be curious how that spam testing via boosts works with the ActivityPub server that I use (I run it myself so I'm fine with being used for testing). This is the one I settled on after trying about 40 different pieces of software and I'm still trying to put it through its paces.
@overminddl1 mastodon has some built in rate limiting https://docs.joinmastodon.org/api/rate-limits/ I only manually pressed the fav button a few times, I don't think that would be considered actual spam, just didn't want to annoy someone
