just heard a guy on the radio receive the news that the film he directed got nominated to an Oscar. he screamt and cried.

and I could relate.

I've followed the IGF for so many years. being nominated for a game I directed, feels... staggering.

very very proud of the team and our game,

it was a cobbled-together team of students, from >8 different institutions.
it was the most challenging creative process, I've ever been in.
having a bunch of smart people say "it's good", relieves a part of the old doubt inside.

now, 6 of us have created a real company, gotten gov. funding, and are working on a bigger, better, beautifuller version of Mind Diver.

most days, I'm just in the work.

when I take a step back, every act feels significant, everything seems full of color.

thank you, IGF <3
